Is it time for bath out shower in?

A specially adapted bathroom can help maintain independent living, minimise slips and trips, and just make life safer and easier. There's a host of features such as grab rails; easy-access showers; shower seats, higher toilets; slip-resistant flooring; easy-push controls and taps; all designed to make life more comfortable. And you don't have to compromise on colour and design, you can still have a stylish and beautiful bathroom. Also, if you or a loved one has a disability that makes using a standard bathroom difficult, you may be eligible for a Disabled Facilities Grant to help with the cost of adapting a bathroom. The DFG is a means tested grant and each local authority has its own policy, so we can't advise you but we can get you started if this interests you, click this link: adapt my home
